Wild in Willacy Boot Fest 2008

Amateur  Wildlife Photography Contest

This contest was designed to highlight the work of amateur photographers.

Deadline for entries:  October 15, 2008 .

General Entry Rules

  1. Age categories: Category 1: up to 12 years old      Category 2: 13 years old to adult 

  2. All photos must be 8X10 and matted…no collages.

  3. Photos must be taken by person entering the picture.

  4. Photo maximum:  3 per person.

  5. Photo must pertain to nature, wildlife, landscapes, insects, or historical buildings in the Rio Grande Valley.

  6. May have people but only in secondary roles.  No domesticated animals.

  7. Photos must be new to the contest.  If the photo was entered into this contest previously it is not eligible.

Awards

  1. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each category. An overall Grand Champion will be selected.
